Clearly there is popular acceptance that alternatives to classroom training can reduce the time and costs associated with optimizing workforce readiness. However, the challenge in selecting the right software technology to power these learning initiatives can be daunting. A major hurdle many companies struggle with is whether to begin their initiative by investing in a learning management system (LMS) or a learning content management system (LCMS).
